Who Do I See?

Asthma –  – Practice Nurse.  Asthma run by our Practice Nurse.

Childhood Immunisations – Practice Nurse & General practitioners (GPs). Childhood immunisations, several severe infectious illnesses can be prevented by immunisation and we recommend that immunisation schedules are followed to keep immunity up to date.

Contraception – General practitioners (GPs) & Nurses. Contraception including the fitting of coils and implants to both registered and non-registered patients. The doctors and nurses also offer emergency contraception.

Counselling – General Practitioners (GPs) , Nursing Practitioner, Physiotherapist, Mental Health Practitioner & Social Prescriber. Counselling can be recommended by one of our practice team.

Flu vaccination – Practice Nurse & General practitioners (GPs). Flu vaccination offered to all people aged 65 years and over and other at risk patients.

Diabetes – Practice Nurse & General practitioners (GPs). Diabetes regular reviews and advice from our Practice Nurse in close liaison with the doctors.

Minor surgery – General practitioner with a specialist interest (GPwSI)/ Primary care surgeon – FRCS(Ed). Minor surgery including the removal of small skin swellings or cysts can performed at the surgery under local anaesthetic by two of the partners.

Phlebotomy – Practice Nurse, General practitioners (GPs) & Phlebotomy trained HCAs. Phlebotomy (blood tests) carried out by visiting phlebotomy staff from the hospital laboratories and our in house Health Care Assistants.

Postnatal – Practice Nurse & General practitioners (GPs). Postnatal (6 – 8 week) checks are done at the same visit as your baby’s six to eight-week check.
